THE Republican for District 1

A resident of Weatherby Lake since 1994, Beverlee Roper is running for Platte County Commissioner because she believes fiscal responsibility and accountability in local government is no less important than in Washington.

As an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice in the Reagan administration, Beverlee became a seasoned litigator, working with investigators to ferret out wrong doing and bringing perpetrators to justice. In the private sector, Beverlee counseled clients on compliance with environmental laws and assisted in negotiating multi-million dollar contracts for them to achieve a positive result.
